I was visiting your site to get familiar with your organization. Sounds like you are a great group of folks!
I hope you don't mind, but I thought I would provide you with some updated information about this years Oktoberfest.
I work at OLPH School and have been working with Nick J. on this event since early summer. The beneficiary this year, (and hopefully years to come), will be OLPH School. The proceeds will be used to update our technology department. As you can imagine, its takes a great deal of resources to keep computers current in both our lab and classrooms.
The event will be on Sunday, October 17 at the First Tennessee Pavilion. We highly encourage you to check-in between 10:00 and 11:30. The cost is $20.00 per car and at check-in you will receive a "Goody Bag" with lots of great stuff. During the day people will vote on the Best In Show and the Ugliest In Show. Winners will receive a nice trophy. Please keep in mind that we will need you to stay until the end as the pavilion will be packed with people and vendor booths.
We will have 2 Oompa Bands, German Folk Dance demonstrations, a German Bier Garden with Amberbock, Heselwisen, and Red Hook Beers. Also, we will have "Weenie" Dog Races, German food, children's games and Art Projects. The pavilion will be decorated in authentic Bavarian fashion with blue and white Colors, (also some German Decor in Black, Gold and Red).
I would like to take the opportunity in advance to thank you for your particiaption and support of this event. We will do everything within our power to both promote your organization and ensure you have a enjoyable afternoon.
