If Homer is going to be towing a Beetle, do I register twice?

We have the confirmed route and other info now as well - please visit http://www.volksfolks.org/vwparade for the details. We will line up on Market St between 12th and MLK starting at 11:00 AM. The parade will start down Market at 1:00 PM, turn left onto 2nd, right onto Chestnut, left onto Riverfront Pkwy, left on Main st, right on Carter st, and then end at the 1st Tennessee Pavilion.

A police escort/pace car will be in front, it must be kept up with for safety. Maintain a speed of 12-15mph and keep one car length in between each VW.

Do I understand correctly that we are going to be blocking off market street 2hrs ahead of the parade at this intersection?
If so are we just to sit in our cars, or are we going to have a mini cruise in while we wait?  You know chairs and coolers and such....
Thanks,
If we have to sit in the VW, I'll Probably be on site at 12:30....
Thanks,
KC :D
Oh yeah, are we alloed to toss candy to the onlookers?
My 4 yr old is looking forward to riding up front with daddy as a big girl!

It will be more like a gathering next to the First Tennessee Pavillion for everyone to enjoy.  There will not be any classes, trophies or registration fees.
