Well my brakes went soft on me before I even left town, but I'm sure driving through the mountains didn't help. I agree that the problem may come back, this week I'm gonna drive it a few times and keep a close eye on everything. I couldn't find any signs of leaking, but my brake fluid must have gone somewhere.

The line going to the passenger's rear tire had the most air in it, so I would suspect something along that side first. Sometime this year I'd still like to redo my brakes and replace everything: booster, master cylinder, pads, rotors, shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses. They're all of questionable age.

someone just said WW just came out with new boosters. Pricey, but not unaffordable.

That's actually not too bad, considering a reman from Auto Zone is $150...
