Life Care Center of East Ridge

The club got the following email the other day:

Quote
Hello!  My name is Christian McDonald and I am the Activities Director at Life Care Center of East Ridge.  I would love to have your group come out and show off your cars to our residents and community.  Would someone please contact me reguarding the chance that we could host a meeting for your organization or you could simply come out and display your VW's for our residents.  It would make a huge impact on our residents' lives for them to have a chance to see some of the older cars they may remember from their past.  If you are interested in setting something up or further information, please call me at 423-499-3922.  Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Christian McDonald,
Activities Director

I think it would be a great thing to do!  We could tie it in with some other activity one weekend.  Maybe meet up there and hang out for an hour and then cruise together to a drive-in movie, or maybe to the DAV show, etc.  Anyone interested?

If I'm free on the day we decide to do this, I would love to come along.

Ya'll need to really consider that email you got Zen.I bet that would really make some of those folks really happy.I bet alot of them have alot of memories and stories to go along with seeing all of ya'lls cars.Just like 67 said, believe it would really be a very worthy cause.I bet an hour and half worth of showing ya'lls cars would give them something to talk about for a month or so.

I think it is an awesome idea. I will do my best to get off on the date the club decides.
