I just got a call from Ted Jones (Stevenson Bug Blast).  He wanted to let us know that Stevenson is hosting one of the largest Lawn Mower Races in the country this weekend.  They have over a hundred mowers pre-registered and are expecting over 150 total.

Just like at the Stevenson Bug Blast, the cost for the weekend is $5 per person and children under 12 are free.  This includes camping Friday and Saturday night if you want to, or you can come and go as you please . . . you only pay the $5 fee once.

I told him I'd spread the word.  If you don't have plans for this weekend and you want some cheap entertainment, this is the event for you.  To get there, take I-24 towards Nashville, get off at the Kimble, TN exit and take US 72 to Stevenson and follow the signs.  It's about 45 minutes to an hour from downtown Chattanooga.
