Did the club stop working this show????
I always liked it seemed to be a worthy cause. So I guesss they dropped the vw classes from the show then?

I don't know who is running it this year, but it ain't us.  I haven't seen a flyer, so I'm not sure if they dropped the VW classes or not.

Since we started running it, the show had gotten larger every year and our volunteer base had gotten smaller.  It's a very worthy cause . . . but last year was 1 more show car or 1 less volunteer away from a total meltdown.

I remember the near meltdown from last year,it was a very labor intensive show. I just liked the fact of alot of local cars and a big variety of them.

Brian, I don't know what your definition of "a lot" is, but by my definition, we didn't have "a lot" of regulars to start with!      We had regualrs, just not a lot of them.  If one of them didn't show up it made a significant dent in our manpower (and womanpower).  8)

I really do hope they have found a group to take over where we left off.  The Volks Folks brought this show back from near death . . . but with over 200 cars it's like us trying to pull off Bug-A-Paluza in 7 hours.  If we didn't start registration until 8 AM Sunday morning, I don't think we would be handing out trophies at 3 PM.

I can't speak for everyone who worked this show in the past, but I enjoyed it . . . up until last year.  It's time for another group to have some fun.   8)
