Anyone else planning on going?  I'll probably get a vendor spot and cut keys again.  The key cutting business was booming the last two years there.  With all the toys I've put in layaway, I've got to do something to make a few extra dollars.   8)  Anyone interested in sharing a vendor spot?

Yeah, I plan to vend, too. I've still got the van loaded from the aborted Stevenson trip. I'm dragging the panel down to be delivered to its new home, too.

According to their web site, a vendor spot is $20 . . . it doesn't have any info about pre-registration so I'm assuming that price is good for day-of registration.  I'll email them and find out the detail on space size, etc.  Last year I pre-registered.  When I pulled up and told them I was a pre-registered vendor they just said "set up over there somewhere" and pointed to one side of the lot.  There were not many vendors so I got all the space I needed . . . enough to park Homer, set up a 10 X 10 over the middle/back of Homer and set up my "locksmith shop" inside Homer and spread out the sliding door, and set up another 10 X 10 behind the Bus for my "storefront."  There was plenty of room . . . I could have taken a lot more space if I needed it.  Hopefully it wil be the same this year, but they are moving to a new venue.  Hopefully, business with be as good this year as it was last year.  I got set up at 9:00 am and it was about 1:00 pm before it got slow enough for me to go back up to registration and take care of the paperwork!  And that was with Will and I both doing keys and re-keying a few locks and Joy selling toys, collecting money and keeping our key business flowing smoothly.  If I could do that kind of business at a show every weekend, I'd probably go into it full time.  Maybe this year will be as good.  I hope so.  I need the extra funds . . . thanks to &*#^@ Wal-Mart!  :x

If you want to join a caravan to the show, several members will be meeting at the Bi-Lo in East Ridge (between the enterance to Camp Jordan and flea market) on Sunday morning and pulling out at 6:00 AM.  If you want to join the caravan further south, they stop at the rest area just south of the Ressaca exit (GA Hwy. 136) and will be pulling out of the rest area by 7:00 AM.
