Fort Oglethorpe car and motorcycle show

« on: September 02, 2009, 12:44:56 PM »
Fort Oglethorpe on Oct. 3 from 5pm to 9pm.

The goal of the DDA is to “revitalize” downtown Fort Oglethorpe, and the car show will achieve that by bringing people in to Fort Oglethorpe,” said Jeff Epperson with the DDA.
Epperson said anyone can enter by finding an empty spot on LaFayette Road during the show.
This year’s show does not include any contests or awards. Future shows might include a contest or awards, but these features often make an entry fee necessary.

Might want to get with the guys that put on the car show in Ringgold each yr at 1890's days.  No entry fee, dash plaques, trophies and door prizes.
It has a "corporate" sponser of Don Lolo's and his name is on all the stuff.

This is put on by the Downtown Development Authority. Sounds like a come by and park your car sort of deal. Since it's their first probably will not be coordinated very well. It benefits the Center fo Hope at Hutcheson. I read it in the WC Messenger. It's close to me and if I break down I can almost walk home
