At the meeting Monday night we settled on moving our cruise-ins to the first Friday evening of the month . . . but we didn't settle on a location.  Somebody make a suggestion.   8)

Backyard Burger on Hwy 58 just off 153 has a good variety on their menu.  Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Baked Potatoes, Salads, Cobblers for dessert.  They usually have buy one get one free coupons available on ChattanoogaFishbowl.com.  They have a good eat in area and we've not ever noticed them being extremely crowded.  They do a lot of drive thru business.   :)

I would like to see us back at sonic for the summer months, but for the remainder of the winter I would suggest Moe's or McMel's (east ridge) or we could even start a rotation of places that way we are making it to  different areas of the community.

Back Yard Burger sounds pretty good but do we need to find something more centrally located? Some of our members would have to drive an extra long distance to get there. Is there any place on East Brainerd Rd?

Back Yard Burger sounds really good to us but I think it would be a good idea to rotate. Not only to advertise our club in different areas but  to give the clubmembers a chance to pick a place they like to eat. The drive is not a big deal for us. We come from Sand Mountain so we have a bit of a drive wherever we go. Especially since it is just once a month.

Back Yard Burgers is just off 153 on the left next door to the Sonic. :) I agree that it would be good to move it around town too!  We'll miss the February one.  Have fun whereever you go!!! :)

I'd like to hit a place with a little more on the menu than burgers, et. al. If the slipping attendance at Fat Moe's is any indication, I might not be alone! Possibly something along the lines of Brian's suggestion or maybe Portofino's in East Ridge (pizza, Italian) or Silas Marley's in E. Brainerd (English Pub/Tavern style). I'm not talking about bar-hopping or having to leave the kids at home, just some place with more on the menu. (NOT a "feeding trough", though! )

I'm flexible, as always!

If the roatation idea was to get started it would probably need a dedicated person to create a schedule and get it out to all the members (by gathering a list of places, creating a schedule, passing out the schedule at meetings, and reminders on the forums).  If everyone was in agreeance on this then Amanda and I would be willing to step up and take charge of it.  I think it would also give us a chance to check out different restraunts.  If there was ever a place that we didn't like then we would just take them out of the rotation.  And if there was a place that we really loved that suited everyones needs we could always consider creating that place our perminent place.  Price range, parking, and seating area would need to be our limiting factors when picking places to go to.  I think we should go ahead and set our Feb. cruise in to be at Backyard burgers on Hwy 58 since it is less than 2 weeks away and then we can iron out the rest here and the next meeting. :)

I think that's a great idea and with Brian and Amanda willing to take charge of it works for us.  Our ladies group at church does a monthly night out and we rotate between casual to nicer places.  This month was Pizza Hut on E. Brainerd Rd and next month is Accropolis at Hamilton Place.  Portifino's on Ringgold Rd is a good place to try.  Easy access to the interstate too. :)

Moving around would be a little harder to keep up with, but with Brian and Amanda willing to take charge of it, that's not a "big" issue.  The up side of it is we would be seen in different places and might attract more new members that way.

So . . . is anyone AGAINST a rotating cruise-in schedule?
