I couldn't drive mine . . . it still had Casey's tow bar on the front beam and my single wheel trailer had a flat . . . and I didn't get up in time to get it ready this morning.   :(  I told Casey I would get the tow bar back to him Sunday evening if I got home from Stevenson soon enough, or Monday after work if I got home late.  I'm still trying to recover from overheating last Friday and Saturday.  Maybe this evening.

Anyway, this was the first time in 15 years I didn't drive a VW to work on Drive Your VW to Work Day.   :'( >:(

Well you can get ready for next year by selling all the non-VWs you own.  That way you'll be guaranteed you'll be driving one to work.....    ;)

You haven't seen my fleet of VWs lately have you?  Selling all my non-VWs might be guaranteeing that I'll be walking to work!  :D  I gott'a get busy and fix some of these "projects."   8)

I take it you've lost a wheel before???  I've lost an oil plug, a heater box, and a front bumper going down the road, but I don't recall ever loosing a wheel . . . yet . . .

Let me re-phrase that statement.  I didn't actually "loose" the bumper and heater box . . . I walked back and picked up the bumper (I was half way back to the car before I realized it was mine) and Kyle recovered my heater box 6 months after it fell off (it magically appeared sitting up on the side of the road when they mowed the first time the next spring).   8)

I did actually loose the oil plug.  It's somewhere between Rising Fawn and the Alabama line on the side of I-59.  But I may find it yet . . . stranger things have happened.   ;D
