Drive In June 28th

« Reply #15 on: June 27, 2008, 09:36:50 AM »
Thanks Zen,
I seem to have the Carb under controll now and will come up 75 to 24 route.  Are we supposed to eat before or is everyone going to picknik with the smuggled food or are we going to eat at the hot dog stand that comes with most of these drive ins?
Thanks,
Look forward to being a part of the convoy to the movie.
Thanks,
KC

The drive-in has fantastic food. They sell everything from pizza to hamburgers to nachos to funnel cakes.

We're coming, too.

Hey, the theatre website asks that people don't bring in their own food any more. 'Sup to you, but if you do, keep it subtle.

Also, if we're meeting at 6 and the movie won't start till after 9, we could eat in Tiftonia.

Just putting that out there...

It was great to get out of the house for the evening and hang out with y'all at the drive in.  I'll have to watch the movie when it comes out on DVD though . . . I saw the first 30 or 40 minutes and the last 10 or so.  I think I dozed through the middle part.   :sleepy1:   Oh well, I didn't really go to watch the movie anyway.  8)

Thanks to Travis and Kyle, I had wipers for the trip home!  I didn't run into any rain, but I'm sure they will come in handy someday.  I know they would have come in handy on the trip over!

Travis, did you make it home OK?

It was a cute movie. And it only rained for about 30 short minutes when we got there at 7.

Thanks to all who left before I found out if my bus would start or not... and it did not.  I apparently left something (I still don't think that a little green light on my fan outlet would have drawn that much power!) plugged in or on.

Thanks Kyle, Betty, and Zen for doing the dirty work!

Also, I have a little pink Croc(?) that was left behind.  Zen said it wasn't his...

Also (pt. 2), Wall-e is great!  Those folks at Pixar know how to tug on heartstrings.

Yeah, mine are couple of sizes bigger!    I think it probably belongs to one of ASBug's kids.  It was on the ground near where they were parked.

If you say Good Bye before you leave its easier. It keeps you from straining your voice rather than getting out of the car after driving a mile and screaming Goodbye back to the masses

If the croc is pink swirlled with white, it is my little Emmy's We are missing one...
Thanks...

Not a prob, she has other shoes, we just couldn't figure out where it went....
If you are going to be at the cruise in, I'll get it from you there, or you can just give it to Zen.
Thanks,
KC
