I believe that they are. I bought a site but I'd be willing to split it.

They are typical GA State Park camp sites.  And, I haven't read the rules for Cloudland Canyon, but GA state parks all have the same basic rules on campsites . . . typically, a maximum of 6 people and two vehicles, and a maximum of one camper and a tent, or two tents.  How that is interpeted and enforced is for the most part, left in the hands of the Camp Hoast.  Two buses on a site shouldn't be a problem.

That sounds good. You can travel with us if she's up to it. We are talking about meeting up at the west end of Ga Hwy 2 -pass Ridgeland and over the hill to the light at the intersection with hwy 193 around 4:00 PM.

This is in my back yard (well, within 20 miles anyway) but I can't make it.  I have to go to Johnson City and help move Justin back home.  Again.

If you didn't go, you missed a very enjoyable campout. The weather was mild (compared to two weeks ago along the Tellico river at least) with highs in the 50s. We arrived Friday and there were maybe 2 or 3 Vanagons there, we started to wonder if that was going to be it or what. By Saturday morning, more had trickled in and I didn't get a complete count but there were probably 15 buses (mostly Vanagons) plus a couple of Airstreams who were with the group, too.

A couple of squirrels made off with a whole potato and a whole stick of butter from our campsite.

Got hassled by the ranger about parking two buses on one site, they tried to make us pay for two spots since we were both hooked up to electricity. The rules clearly state max 2 vehicles per site, and at the front desk they finally conceded since we weren't hooked up to sewer they would let us slide with one spot this time. Never had that happen before, we double up all the time and it's never been a problem.

Hiked around Saturday afternoon to some very scenic overlooks, didn't go all the way down to the falls though.

The potluck dinner was amazing!

looks like fun! I wished I could have gone, but I put new brakes on the truck and went to the boat show.
