Circle Yer Wagens - May 3-5

« on: April 21, 2002, 08:54:12 PM »
So, now that we have our show behind us, we get to realx and enjoy some shows now!

Circle Yer Wagens coming up May 3-5.

Anybody have any times to meet.

I think that Anthony and I might go up there Friday morning tp get set up and registered.  Unfortunately we have to leave by the evening for a CSO performance that Anthony is involved in.  But we will cruise up again that night and stay the rest of the weekend.

The Barefeet will be going up on Friday morning as well.  The camping gets pretty crowded if you don't get there early, especially before dark.
I suppose that a caravan is in order... :thumbs-up:

I won't be able to come up until late Friday night or early Saturday morning . . . try to save me a spot to squeeze my bus into.  Maybe in the next 2 weeks I'll have time to fasten all the cabinets and the bed down . . . and maybe hang some curtians in it.

Hey Russ, I think they have a web site. I'm not sure if it's under "Circle Yer Wagens"  or Appalachian Volkswagen Association. Seems like last year it was $ 5.00 for spectator. I don't know what it costs to show. Elic (Big Johnson) can tell you. Call him.  :help

I've still got lots to do before I leave . . . finish installing a floor pan in a co-worker's bug so I can get it out of my driveway, unpack the bus from BP-4, fasten the bed down so it won't flip over when I try to lay down, hang some curtians, change the oil and adjust the valves, etc., etc., etc.

In reality, I'll probably just change the oil and adjust the valves.  If I get through with this floor pan I'm installing and get the oil changed/valves adjusted by Friday evening, I would be OK with leaving at 9:30.  If I'm not ready to leave by then, I'll just wait and go up with the Saturday morning caravan.    :alien:

After re-shuffling our schedules, it looks like we can go up Friday morning, park the Kampfer, come back to the 'Nooga for the Symphony, then head back Fri. night like I said in my last posting.  So, when's a good time for the Friday morning run, 8 or 9?

Zen, we can still run up with you Friday night after the concert, if you're ready by then.

I guess we're bringing the E-Z Up and selling t-shirts again, right?

Fun weekend! less :cussing: , more :beerchug:!!!

Hey Zen, just leave my drill in your bus and I will get it from you in Seveirville.

And as far as leaving Friday morning, I think (but am not sure just yet) that we will be trying to leave early...something like 6 AM.

And info is available at www.avwa.com
