Well, Ethan is behind in his math work and his mother will not let him go tomorrow if it is not done. He is busting his butt right now to see if he can get caught up. If he can't go then I am not going to take his bus up there. He is going to call me back in a few hours and let me know.

I'll be there at 7:30 too. I have one club banner we can hang on our cars, and two trophies to give to people.

Cool,  the beetle is ready,  we went to adjust the valves and noticed on side rocker loose,  we were able to tighten the inserts and get it back on the road, (thanks rick) i still need a 6 volt regulator, i am charging the batt and hope for the best.

Show report: It was wet, heh.

Me, Travis, and Fred, Shannon, and Rachel met at Northern Tool on Lee Highway. It rained pretty much the entire way up there. Despite the weather there were still a lot of cars at the show, but not as many. We shopped and looked for about an hour. Saw Mike and Debbie, Hugh and Cathy, Navar and Rusty, Moose, Barefoot, and Chris.

yes, 30.00 for a new aftermarket,  put it on, still no charge,  polerized the generator still nothing, stop halfway home and the thing is charging, but only 6.8 volts,  but i made it there and back with no complicatins.  The rain stopped for a little while and it got warm and we even put on sunscreen,  then it was just overcast for the ride home,  we decided not to stay for another rainy day.  bought 2 6 volt generators for 3.00 w/ regulators,  so now i have some spares,  most everyone wanted alot for the cool stuff.  got a couple of small thing like calve cover gasket, etc.

Rachel and I went.  Passed Russ & Fred as we were arriving.  Saw Moose.  Purchased a W decklid, pop-out latches, early rear apron and two early wide 5 wheels.  I thought prices were good on the used stuff.  Saw tons of fenders for $10-$30 each.  Tickets were $7 each.  I was kinda pissed about spending $14 on tickets until I got the bright idea of selling mine (looks around) to a couple as we left the show for $10.  I guess $4 wasn't too bad.  Stayed the night in Pigeon Forge.  Just got home.
