Circle Yer Wagens 21 is April 30th and May 1st.  Looks like they are going to have a Hippie Days event this year in June.  They haven't had a Hippie Days cruise for several years.  Circle Yer Wagens 22 will be October 1st and 2nd.

Should I go this year? Last year I went and it was raining pretty hard, looked like it was about to storm pretty good too. Although days like those are the best for parts picking, I bought a BUNCH of stuff off a guy that was busy trying to move his stuff back into his van. Got a set of wheels for $40, and 2 hoods $10 for both. Also took everything on his junk table for $10   Bad part was that hardly anyone was there :(

Circle Yer Wagens has had it's share of bad weather, but I hear they've put in an early order for partly cloudy skys, a slight breeze with warm days and cool nights . . . Regardless of the weather, I'm going!

Nope.  We are getting it first to test it out and make sure it's what they ordered.

I don't guess I'll be going either.    I gott'a video tape the Walker County Relay for Life on Saturday.  The closing ceremony is at midnight.  Sunday I HAVE to pull Homer's engine and fix my quart-every-couple-of-days oil leak.

We're planning to go up Saturday morning for the day.  Lamar has seat belts to pick up for the orange bug.  It will depend on the weather what we drive up.  The Damron's are planning to go also.  Hopefully it won't be a total day washout... :)

Well, they didn't break their record with no rain...there was lots of rain and lots of mud puddles.  Still had a good showing today of vendors but not a lot of cars.  Maybe the sun will shine for them tomorrow.  So glad we didn't plan to camp this year! :D

We were able to set up camp in between the rainy periods on Friday.  Then the rain stopped...then it started again.  Then it started again...then stopped.  It rained some more Friday morning...and then again Saturday morning.  And again Saturday afternoon.  Saturday was not a good day weatherwise.  Ucky, mucky mess.
But...
I was able to find everything that I was looking for.  I got the exhaust headers for Oscar as well as new heater boxes.  I got the little plastic seat belt bolt cover for the driver's seat belt on Sweetpea that I had been hunting for a long time.  I got new (good used) CV joint hardware for Oscar.
Sunday was beautiful.  The sun came out and dried up the tents and EZ-Ups, although the ground was still mucky.  Lots more show cars came and even a few more vendors.
I'm glad I went.  Even though the weather was just utterly horrible, I was going to go anyway.
And hey, look...I didn't melt.

I didn't get home from the Relay for Life until after 1:00 am Sunday morning.  When I got up I really didn't feel up to pulling Homer's engine, fixing the oil leaks and putting it back in by myself.  I thought about heading that way . . . but everyone would have been packing up by the time I drove to Seveirville.   ](*,)   One way or the other, I'll be there for the fall show!   8)
