Join us on Saturday, October 24th from 11 AM to 7 PM for Chattanooga's Renaissance Oktoberfest celebration. We will be parked around the Walnut Street Bridge.

Then on Sunday, October 25th we will be at the Chattanooga Market for Oktoberfest from 11 AM until 6 PM at the First Tennessee Pavilion

So, are there going to be parking spaces reserved for us or are we just keeping our fingers crossed there there will be room? I guess I'm asking about both the Saturday and Sunday events. I'm guessing that if I show up at the Friday event in a '73 Ghia I'll be allowed in.

I am not yet a member but I plan to become one first chance I get. I just got the old autostick shifting to my satisfaction and I'm looking forward to meeting other V'dubbers in the area.

Oct. Fest thanks

What a long three days! I just want to say thanks to all that went to one, both, or all three events this weekend. We had a ball! And a hugh thanks to the Cool Breeze gang for coming down Sunday and making a great showing. I was disappointed that at the last min.,we were forced to split the Club into two locations, but I think we made the best of it anyway. I promise that next year, if I have anything to do with it, it will not happen.

Thanks again
Mike

Sorry that we couldn't make it . My Body wasn't up for it.
Watched the news last night and not one word about the Fest much less the VW's .  I'm not surprised .  I guess all news about the shootings and body counts and the murder of the day and rehashing 3 day old news and every football score in the western hemisphere was much more interesting. Oh well

Yeah, the newness of the factory anouncement has worn off, David.  Back to normal with the local media....

Stayed busy the whole weekend, couldn't make it to any of the 'fest.  hopefully will have something to show off next year.

It was a little disappointing on Sunday that they split us up when we were told we'd all be parked out front. Still I had a pretty good time but I would have liked a parade!

Like Grasshopper said . I to would have enjoyed a parade. Poor old Chattanooga just has a hard time with things like this. I guess the Police were having way to much fun with target shooting in the "Getto" to help us have a parade

Good Times!

I made it to Friday's and Sunday's festivities. (Saturday was for chores) It was nice to get a chance to talk to the other club members. The Cleveland bunch seem like a lot of fun.

My kids had a ball. My Daughter wanted to sit in the car all day Sunday so people would know the car was her's.

There were some cool rides there both days. The yellow bus was killer. I met the guy with the silver Ghia and talked to him about joining the club. He said he keeps meaning to. We'll see.

Being new I didn't know what to expect. It'll take a while for me to get used to people sticking their heads in my windows but I dug the attention my strange little car got.

Thanks,
Dave

I hate I missed Saturday and Sunday . . . if they were half as much fun as Friday, I know I missed a good time!

I never heard that. Everytime I heard Paul Smith talk he said they saved room for some inside the pavillion in the back and some outside in front.
