I don't think so.  We are saving our Rubels for Mid America and pay for a slab of concrete, finish the Type-82 E recon car, restore the Allison. Then I'm going to retire again.

Well that sounds like a plan. I hear you on retire again.Keep us updated on the Allison. Now where is Mid America again? I just had this crazy feeling by the time You talked to a few more buggy people that urge of the hidden boy would come out and you would somehow end up with a dunebuggy like you had in earlier day's Is this going to be a go buggy or show buggy or a little of both? If I don't hit some shows in the next year or two I will have no chance at all to show mine.I see that people are picking up on them and putting alot more money and time into them now like they do the Beetles and Transports etc.Even the rails are getting alot more put into them.I saw the red one in a pic that has the fire engine lights and big expensive wheels on them.It blows my mind at these sand buggies out west that are going for 85,000 dollars.I just don't think I could run the hell out of these and go through all that sand etc with that kind of $ in one.I guess if they are able to put that kind of $ into them the first time,  they can do it again to keep them up lol. It's like when you go by these big million dollar houses and say"Wow I would hate to have to clean that house up"not thinking at the time you know they have a cleaning service to do it lol.

Do you have a link to the site?

For info on the show in Effingham, go to Mid-America Motorworks' web site ( http://www.mamotorworks.com ) and scroll down and look for the link to FunFest for Air-Cooled VW 2006.

For info on the show in Carrollton, GA go to Herrell's Parts and Resto's web site ( http://www.herrellbugparts.com ) and scroll down and find the link to the first annual Atlanta Bug Fever Fix.
