Eric and I were the only ones that went last year. We had a lot of fun. Everyone was very friendly. It is about 3-4 hours away in Erwin, TN. You camp right there at the river. They have rafting, tubing, ect... We should get a group going this year. It would be more fun than just us two. Buses on the River :D

I went to the Southeast Event Planner and got this...

August 15-17: Buses on the River; Erwin, TN; Camping Along The Banks Of The Nolichucky River!

And the link is to the same website that Shasta directed us to.

I keep on saying its a show.  Its not a show but just a fun campout.  They show movies on a huge screen at night, and basically just hang out and go tubing during the day.  No shining of cars, no wondering if you've been judged, just peace and quite out in the middle of no where and I mean BFE.  I hope we can get a bunch to go this year.  And maybe a bonus like last year, there was a home brewers club camping at the same time and we got to sample and sample their own creations.   This how the night started  :D then after a few too many home brews  :(
