Russ,

Who do I need to contact for a camping spot and detatils on elect / water hook-ups?  We have a camper and plan to stay the whole weekend.  If we can get a spot, we'd be happy to help out if anyone needs help.

Thanks.

A few options:

1. Camp Jordan has camper hook ups for large campers over near the arena.
2. Primitive camping is available in the fenced in area in front of the amphitheater/stage (mostly for camper buses and tents!)
3. Commute.
4. Camping World (old Shipp's RV) has a camp ground across Ringgold Road.

If your camper doesn't have a shower in it, the Shower Bus will be on site for showers! Camp Jordan doesn't have permanent showers as of yet!

The BP website should be up and running soon with ways to pre-register for camping/showing/vending. Since you are a club member and are willing to help out, come to a show committee meeting and we will put you to work!

Yeah it depends on what kind of "camper" it is. The field is reserved for VW and tent camping, and there's an RV park down the road for anything bigger than that. Either way you will be accommodated.

We have a pop-up with a shower.  We've never used the shower, so this will be a weekend full of firsts for us.  As my birthday is on April 30th, this is going to be a very exciting weekend for me! ;D

See everyone Monday!

We've officially moved Bug-a-Paluza 13 to our original show dates, April 15-17. We will no longer conflict with Circle Yer Wagens!

Here's Mike explaining the date change.

First Ever V-Dub Gong Show
Have you got talent? Enter our Saturday Night V-Dub Gong Show! You could sing, perform a skit, show off a hidden talent, or anything else you think might please the crowd. If you can meet the approval of our judges of course. Instead of a gong, a gold VW hood will be hung. Will you be a hit? Or get gonged off the stage?

Okay, I have access to a Wuhan (China-one thing that they make very well) 37" gong that was told by our conductor just this week was too loud for the Chattanooga Symphony at full Fortissimo (that's Italian for "balls out"), but if you want to use the decklid instead... :)

We came up with the idea of using a decklid 'cause after all it's a VW show, and where in the world would we get a "real" gong anyway? . . . but if a "REAL" gong is avalible, especially a REAL BIG, REAL LOAD gong . . .  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
