Call us what you will but Dee and I are having serious doubts about going because of the weather. The "high" for Saturday is not supposed to get out of the 30's. It would probably be an OK drive down and back but how much visiting would we be able to enjoy standing around freezing? We have not made a definate decision but it's not looking real good this morning.

Well, we packed up Joy, Jesse, my mother-in-law and a few blankets in Homer, met up with Kyle and Austin in the stretch and went to Tallapoosa Saturday afternoon.  Considering the weather it was a pretty good turn out.  About an hour of trying to keep one side from cooking over the fire while the other side was getting frost bite was about all we could stand.  It was fun . . . but it had of been about 30 degrees warmer and the wind had of died down it would have been much better!  I thought about tossing a game of horse shoes, but it would have meant moving away from the fire!  Anyway, we shook a few hands, said hi to a few friends, handed out a few flyers and headed back home.  I never knew how warm Homer's heater was until I had stood outside for an hour Saturday!
