Anyone planning to go????  We thought we would change the meeting time to 7:00 a.m. at the Wildwood exit.  Meet at the BP/Amoco station down from the Racetrac Station.  We'll pull out at 7:15.   :)

I just checked Mapquest for directions to Tannehill State Park and it said it is 201 miles from our house in Harrison or 3 hrs. 15 minutes.  Not as bad a drive as we thought. :)

I went to the very first Birmingham Bug Blast (the weekend after 9/11) and I haven't missed one since . . . but I'm not going to make this one.   :(  I have company coming in from out of town.  If I can get them to wait until late Saturday afternoon to show up, maybe I can drive down real early Saturday morning, make an appearance, and turn around and come back home . . . I hate to break my streak.   :?

They usually have a great show.  We are meeting at the Wildwood exit in the morning at 7:00 am for the 3 hour drive.  You are  welcome to join up with us.   :)

I remember that show too Zen. Lots of mixed emotions that day to say the least. I have not been able to make it back to another of their shows. I have to work this weekend and anyway I have the engine tins pulled and being powder coated. Weather looks great for those of you who go. Have a great time!!!!

I wanted to and I was going to go, but I just don't have the money to do what my main reason would be for going : PARTS!

Oh, yeah...Linda is working tonight, sleeping tomorrow...and...Talia has strep throat.  I took her to school today, and before I could get home, they were calling me to tell me she was in the nurse's station.  She didn't have a fever, so they wouldn't send her home.  I said to see if she could make it to lunch, but it wasn't 30 minutes later that they said to come get her.

Y'all have fun now, ya hear?

For those of us who went, we had a great time. The new venue at Tannehill State Park is just fantastic. Lots of shade, grass, and for the first time since I started going to this show............THERE WASN'T ANY RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their event is really growing with more cars and vendors present. You guys who didn't go missed a good show.
