Surely I can make this one.But I will have to get busy cleaning.I'm scared to move it because my wife will get my garage space with her junk I try to sneek off to the dump a little at a time.Zen like that Johnny Cash song where he works at the auto manufacturing plant and makes him a cad. one piece at a time.

"We went down to get the tag and I headed her right on down main drag and I could hear folks laughing for blocks around.

But up there at the court house, they didn't laugh, 'cause to type it up it took the whole staff, and when they got through the title weighed 50 pounds!

I got it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime.  You'll know it's me when I come through your town.  I'm gonn'a ride around in style, I'm gonn'a drive everybody wild, 'cause I'll have the only one there is around!"

Sorry.  I do that sometimes.  Can't help it.  A lot of us here in "the triangle" are big Johnny Cash fans.  Johnny spent some time jail a couple of blocks from my house.  He also paid for my high school band room.

ANYWAY . . . back to the original subject . . . I'm planning on going to the "Bug Fever Fix."  Anyone else?  Don't forget that this is in west Georgia and there has always been a BIG crowd of folks from that area at our shows.   8)

A guy my wife works with was a Walker County Deputy back in the 60's.  He was the officer who actually arrested Johnny and put him in the Walker County Jail.  Several of the guys with the Walker County police talked to Johnny and according to a "This Is Your Life" TV show I saw back in the late 70's played a big part in Johnny giving up booze and drugs and getting his life back on track.  That wasn't from a book or movie . . . Johnny and Sheriff Ralph Jones had a conversation about his time in the Walker County Jail live on the air.  Shortly before my family moved to LaFayette, Johnny held a big benefit concert in LaFayette and raised the money to build what would be dedicated as the "Johnny Cash Building" at the LaFayette High School Stadium.  The building housed the band room on one end, the main gate and concession stand in the middle and a locker room/weight room on the other end.  A big part of my time at LaFayette High was spent in that building . . . 4 years of band, 4 years of wrestling practice, two years of all the indoor training for football, several weight training classes and a summer work program between my Jr. and Sr. years.  . . .  lots and lots of fond memories . . . Thank you Johnny!   8)
