Alabama Bug Jam - (The Stevenson Show)

« on: April 17, 2002, 05:09:44 PM »
I just went to the AVWA web site.  It appears that they are the folks putting on the show in Stevenson, but this is all I saw on it:

The AVWA Comes To Alabama
(there was an Alabama Bug Jam graphic here)
JUNE 8 & 9, 2002
STEVENSON PARK
HISTORIC STEVENSON, ALABAMA

Ermal will be at Bug-A-Paluza, so maybe we can get the scoop on it then.

Just thought I'd get this topic back to the top.  We're going, but we may not both be there the whole time.  Wedding and gig stuff.  Is Bug Barn going to be there?  I would like to contact and ask about bringing some parts, but I can't find an e-mail address or phone # in my stacks.  Can anyone help???

Just a reminder about the time schedules we talked about at the meeting to cruise down to Stevenson:

Friday:  Meet at the old Sam's parking lot on Lee Hwy at 6 pm
Saturday:  Meet at Bilo/Ooltewah parking lot at 8 am
Sunday:  Meet at Cone/Wildwood exit 8:30 am ????(I think)

Heard there might be some going up earlier on Friday...save us a spot.

It seems like the Saturday morning caravan had planned a stop at the Cone Station (Wildwood, GA exit off I-24) to pick up the folks that live South and West of Chattanooga and head on out from there around 9:00am . . . or am I just dreaming this up?

If things work out, I might be going over Friday evening (don't wait on me anywhere, but if I can get there ahead of the caravan, I'll wait on the side of the interstate somewhere just past the Racoon Mt. exit).  If I don't get to leave Friday evening, I'll be waiting at the Cone station Saturday morning IF the caravan is stopping there . . . and if it isn't stopping, I'll just be sitting on the side of the interestate and I'll fall in  when the caravan passes.

Satruday:  8am Bilo in Ooltewah, then pick up the south people at the Cone in Wildwood at 8:45am.

Sunday:  8:30am at the Cone in Wildwood.
