I picked up a flyer today at American Foreign Auto Parts in Dalton for the 1st annual VW's in the Pocket Campout

"Come and camp in The Pocket, a beautiful valley that's rich with history and has scenic John's Creek running through it. SEVVA will be hosting the event at The Pocket campground on Nov. 4-6. Drive your VW in and join with other VW owners camping in The Pocket. On Saturday, the 5th, SEVVA will be joining with NERA (New Echota River Alliance) and other volunteers for a river's edge clean-up and recycle event to help protect the serenity and beauty of John's Creek. We will be meeting at The Pocket ranger station at 9am on Saturday. then there will be a cook-out at the campground afterwards."

This campground is part of a national park located between Lafayette and Calhoun. Directions are available thru Map Quest. Look up The Pocket Campground.

I received an email from Joey earlier today and he advised me when looking up The Pocket on Map Quest, use the city of Lafayette. The park has a Lafayette mailing address. He also expressed much thanks for us posting their event in our forums.
