VWs in California

« on: January 22, 2005, 12:24:31 AM »
Shaw has been sending me all over the place lately, just recently San Francisco.  Old VWs as you would expect are everywere!  The majority of the VWs I noticed were Westys.  Of course the city had its fair share of old beetles as well.  While the majority were unrestored drivers, some of the VWs that were driving around were perfect show cars.  I even saw a old Porcshe speedster on the interstate.  Personally I don't know if I could drive an old VW around the extremely hilly city of San Francisco knowing all to stop me is drum brakes.......

Sounds like a fun trip!  It would be great if that was the case here.  Don't know about everyone else, but it seems like most days it's either too hot or too cold around here.  I guess San Fran doesn't have that problem, though.   8)
