The joys of owning a VW - Help is everywhere

This is kind of a old story but I don't think all of you have heard it.   Awhile back I was driving Chip (my 78 Westy) home from work.  My conscience was bothering me telling me to pull into the gas station and fill him up at the corner of Bonny Oaks and Lee Hwy.  I thought to myself make it over the hill to Ooltewah and gas is cheaper.  So, vroom there I went hitting the interstate heading up the hill,  a couple of sputters later Chip was slowing down.  Heres where it gets more interesting.  Before I could get stopped, there was already I guy pulling over, he actually was backing back up the interstate towards me when I was still sputtering to a stop.  I looked up saw the Phish stickers on the back of his Jeep and knew he was here to help a fellow Phishman.  He ran me down to the gas station and brought me back.  When we arrived back at the bus there was a TDOT helper getting out to help to.  Anyway I made it home and pushed my answering machine button and heard Herb Keedy's voice "Eric do you need help I heard Chip was broke down".  I looked at the time of the machine and it was just a few minutes after my gas misfortune.  So I called him and he said that Linda Barefoot had seen my bus,  called Travis Barefoot and he called Herb who called Perk.  So before I could even get gas back into by bus I had 4 volksfolks looking for me, had a TDOT guy, And a Phish fan that the only reason he said he stopped was because I was diving a VW bus.  Being a VolksFolk is great.  Thanks to the 4 members that sprung into action for me. :D
