Saw this one parked at Lowe's in Ft. Oglethorpe recently. Tag on the front says "Magic Bus". My guess is '71 or '72.

Cool.  I could tell you for sure what year if I could see the fresh air louvers and rear tail lights.

This was at Sonic in Ringgold today. Says it's an automatic on the back.

If I remember right I usually saw one exactly like that at the lumber place across the street from that Sonic.

These aren't from Chattanooga but thought I'd post it here. I took these photos in Mt. Airy, NC (Mayberry) in front of Goobers Restaurant. The thing on top is supposed to be a surfboard but doesn't look like it has stood the test of time as well as the Type II. Groovy paint scheme though!

A few times in the morning, I'll pass a faded pale green '69ish beetle on battlefield parkway at the 3-notch turn, it is usually headed toward ringgold and is passing about 7:50 in the morning, I only see it when I am running late for work, it makes a stressfull drive a little more plesant.  Also saw a yellow Baja pulling on to Battlefield the other morning, 1st time seeing that one.  Any one out there belong to these cars?
