Hummmm . . . If it looks like Homer the SuperBus and it . . . oh, never mind the rest, if it looks like Homer it probably is. Yeah, I was in Dalton Friday evening. My wife and I drove Homer over to Shaw Plant 30 to pick up a piece of carpet I had bought for our living room. Of course, we had to hit the Chef Lin Buffet and Wal-Mart while we were over that way, so I was kind'a all over the south end of town.
As far as waving when someone honks, I can't unless I'm sitting still. If I'm moving I have to keep at least one hand on the steering wheel (I still haven't got the front end lined up) and one hand on the shifter to hold it in gear. But, the next time you see it going down the road, I may be able to wave. By the time I got back to LaFayette, I couldn't even hold it in 4th. I drove the last 5 miles or so in 3rd. I've got another tranny sitting out back . . . don't know if it's any good, but I guess there's only one way to find out . . .
