Flat head motors

Went by a friends house who has some flat head motors,  has no idea what they are worth

He might sell them,  some have transmissions,  several were out of trucks,  I would like to have one to rebuild for a future hot rod,  I hear there pretty expensive to build

I have a guy that I know is recdoing a 1951 Ford truck.
he was stating that he might need another engine.

Sure,  I think these are earlier but I don't know anything about flat head motors

Like VW engines, some are more useful than others (the late ones are usually what the hot rodders want) but others want a numbers-matching engine for their particular car.
