I've owned my bus for 14 months now... this was the first time I took it out of state. It really was a great feeling to drive it all that way, the bus performed flawlessly, meaning I had to have done **something** right when I built that engine last year. Every time I stopped I had people come up to me and talk about the bus. I don't mind that, but when I am trying to get a quick bite to eat or running for the bathroom at a rest area it can be quite annoying to be stopped!
Driving through Atlanta is worse every time I go through. no one is considerate that you are in your lane and they should stay in theirs... no, they want the position you are in in your lane RIGHT now. how inconsiderate. That's the worst part of the whole trip.
I didn't have a single problem... that's what happens when you come prepared for anything I think. I did see a ladies tire blow out right in front of me in the next lane over... kinda scary (cause i thought she might lose control and hit my bus!)... glad it wasn't me... I didn't use a drop of oil in the 900 miles either! and the bus rolled over to 139,xxx miles!
I had a great time up there... mud and all... I could have done without the wet feet and mud in the bus tho... Was good to see old friends and make some new ones. Hopefully I will see you all next year!
