Over the past 10 days, I've driven over 2500 miles, been in 9 states, visited the Gettysburg battlefield, Hershey's Chocolate World, Penn. Amish country (Intercouse, Penn.), The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Carlos's Bakery in Hobokin, N.J. (Cake Boss), fought NYC traffic, went through the Lincon Tunnle, ran through an "easy pass" lane toll booth without paying a toll, visited with Joy and Franny's family in Conn. for 5 days and then drove from Danybury, Conn. back to LaFayette in less than 16 and a half hours yesterday.  Whew . . . glad that's over!  It's good to be back home . . . now it's time to got to work.   

Sounds like fun. Better post some pictures or we'll say it didn't happen!!!

Pictures?  That reminds me of one thing I left out.  We went to the Mill Mt. Zoo in Roanoke, VA the first Saturday of the trip.  Joy knocked my digital camera off of a picnic table at the zoo and it didn't work the rest of the trip . . . the lense wouldn't pop out.  I just turned it on and it worked fine!?!   

Oh well, I had my camcorder and Garmin as backup cameras . . . the pictures aren't as good as they would have been, but I did get a few snapshots.  Oh, and I have a video of an Amish buggy passing another Amish buggy while a car trys to pass both of them!
