Well, Bugsy had a birthday and four days later she blew a head gasget.  Luckily, I had a mechanic offer to fix it for for almost nothing.  I got GPS for her for Christmas and everyone has been giving me a hard time about not really having a car to put it in :?

For the love of God, i hope your mechanic has experience on these cars.... i have seen a lot of cars messed up worse because they were repaired by a Ford mechanic....  :?

Or any other brand of mechanic for that matter....

Didn't we just have a discussion on this same subject about a week ago ?

I heard that old Dashers really burn good. Almost as good as a Type-4 powered Westy's

The mechanic has experience with VWs.  He is an old family friend, but I have warned him that this car is like my other child and that I was very nervous.  His reply was to send me a picture of my car with no hood and a gaping whole where my motor used to be.  Not funny.

I hadn't noticed that, but yes that is what it looks like.  I think he is having too much fun messing with me.  At least, I hope he is messing with me.

You could be on to something, the first ever bud light powered car.  It might make a great alternative fuel source.  I bet I could get some sponsorship on that one...at the very least maybe a free 6pk.
