OK, here's my non-VW tech tip of the day . . . If you ever put intake manifold gaskets on a 4.3 Vortec V6 engine, it will run a LOT better if you plug the camshaft position sensor wire back into the distributor. And it only took me two months to figure that one out!

If you do spark plugs on a late model ford truck with the long tip plugs, be sure you follow the procedure for removing them so you don't break every end off in the head and have to buy a special extractor to get them out
