I think my clutch line is deteriorated.  A new one is 50-60 bucks.  It's about4-5feet long.  Can I refit the ends to universal flex hose or something and save some dough? Sc

You can have lines made,  but by the time you drive to the place on shallow ford rd,  you would come out better to order it,  I have seen the lines for the convertible tops rebuilt,  but I think they went for 500 bucks or so

Start it in gear and shift on the fly

So i don't listen... the clutch line is 2 feet of bent metal line pipe,  foot of rubber hose,   then 6 inches of   metal line to the  slave.    I found some thick fuel line that fit and used hose clamps.  ..looked pretty swell,     Bled the air out,  when I press the pedal,  the rubber hose gets bigger.  SOB....  I need some 2/8 of 3/8  hydraulic hose. I have a rubber brake line laying around ,  I'm going to cut the metal fittings off  and see  if it works,  my hands hurt and this adventure has gotten old.  I'm still not paying 70 bucks on the pos saab.So far... I'm out about 3 bucks and 3+ hours bent over a 91 saab..  SC

Were can I buy some 3/8 hyrdralic line

My brake line was lik 1/8 inside.  I could not slide it over the end
