Anybody Need a Vintage Camper Project Cheap?

« on: September 25, 2011, 09:57:01 PM »
I just ran across this "Antique Scotty Trailer" on craigslist . . . it's cheap enough ($450), but it's a "project" for sure.  It looks to be from the 60's and is about the same size as the ones Alan and Fielding have.

Unfortunately, the cash is definitely a real problem... and a new place to live if I bring home yet another project before these two are done...  :D

I have at this stage in life however learned a valuable lesson.... With my minimal spare time, One project is okay, Two is pushing it, Three will pretty much guarantee that nothing will get done on any one of them....  ::)

Maybe one day soon I will have one.  This one is right up for what i want... a little 10ft or so box to pull behind the bus sometimes would be killer...  8)

Now, if someone wanted to buy it, hold on to it for about 6 months, and then sell it to me... that would be just fine...  ;D

Hummmm . . . I have this old Harley golf cart that needs a little welding and some fiberglass work and some re-wiring . . . if you are interested in taking on that project (I know, I know . . . like you need ANOTHER project) and I can win about $500 on a scratch-off lottery ticket in the next couple of days, we might be able to work out something . . .  8)

The good thing about the camper project is that if you get kicked out of the house, at least you have place to stay . . . IF you can put off getting kicked out long enough to restore the camper.   ;D
