Exactly what I was thinking.

They look nice, but the term "turd" comes to mind quickest...

i tried to get him to do some research on them, i looked a little,  i was real unsure about the car, if it was a honda or vw i would have been a little more confident in him buying it, as i  am the house tech

I always hate that....

the pressure is on, at no fault of your own.  I was joking around with my dad the other day and told him I wanted him to buy some car i was not familiar with next, so he would have to take it some place else to have it worked on.   :D :D

I have known Spike since he was a little "snot".  I have bought 3 cars from him,two 240's and a V-70 wagon.

He also is not to shabby on aircools. He drove them for years. He and Ann brought both newborn rug rats home in a crapped out van.

Nice price!  Those cars are great IMHO, always loved the look of a 850/70 series.  The LS is OK too, its just by the time I see them they are pretty much done.  I'm sure there is plenty of them in fine condition, but the troubles out weigh the benifits when they get worn.  I suppose the same could be said about all vehicles, but I would rather be sporting the Volvo. ;D
