You Can Buy ANYTHING on eBay -- Version 5.0

« on: July 10, 2003, 12:09:08 AM »
Got a little bored and decided to just see what kind of "locksmithing" stuff I could find on eBay.  Searched for "Locksmith" in auction titles only . . . got 667 auctions.  Somewhere around #550 I found this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....ry=1467

I guess you can not only "Buy Anything" you can also "Sell Anything" on eBay!

How many of you drooled over the VW bug/bus on the cover of Hot VWs last month?
It could be yours!

ebay engine heater

Zen, here's the same heater I've got on my engine.  On one hand, this one's NOS, (much rather have that than a used one) on the other, it looks like it's missing the little clips that hook it onto the engine.  They wouldn't be hard to fabricate with sheet metal and you could copy one of mine.  They usually bid up to about $15 to $20

HEY HERB, (or others) here's a correct dash clock with the silver center for the early bays, in case you decide you'd rather have that than the tach.

Two things:
Travis, here's the photo I told you about:  Photo

Anyone, here's the bucket of myth and legend and lore that goes in your Westy's waste box:  bucket
It's the second one I've ever seen on eBay!  Yeah, it's a lot, but...the myth!...the lore!...

He's started it at $50, has NO bids, and his reserve is NOT met. There's only 2 days left on the bidding!

I got a DEAL on some VW Logo Keys yesterday. I had bid on one in a dutch auction for 5.  I bid the opening bid of $4 and figured I wouldn't win one ... but I turned out to be the only bidder.  When I emailed the guy and asked what he would take for the whole lot, he said $17 INCLUDING SHIPPING!  They are single sided cutout logo keys, but I'm not sure what profile they are . . . but then at under $4 each including shipping, I really don't care!
