Ok guys and gals my 6 year old wants to design my paint scheme for my bug. I have a decent one on there now in 1 color but she thinks it needs to be " different ". Should i let her do it. She already has one bug picture done in about 5 colors but she says she has some other ideas. Believe me it would be different ....... and fun........ Rob

Peekaboo street's parents let her name herself and she became famous, maybe if you let her design the car it will win awards

I was in the process of painting Homer flat black and it was actually looking pretty good . . . then my grandson "reminded" me that I had promiised that if ever painted it, I would paint like the Super Bus in the old VW ad (I've got the ad posted in the gallery).  So, that's why Homer got painted like the Super Bus . . . Now, Homer isn't just an old beat up, rusty bus . . . He's Homer the Super Bus!  I say go for it!!!

Well so far guys it looks like it may be a go on the " patchwork color paint job ". I will have to seriously look at many pictures of hers to make the big choice. I do have a few now. Oh on the big soap opra of Roadkill getting back on the road she is. I took her to R&M tuesday and had her back in about 2 hours with the new distributor. It runs alot better but i still need to have the carb adjusted. Hay Bugnut you want to help me with it. I can drive it over to your place now ..........

I let kids paint Stupie with side walk chalk, so I'm biased.  Go for the memories.  Go with the 5 colors.   Plus you can skimp on the prep work. SC
