Glad to see SCVF's are still rock'n I remember when I first met everyone and when I was able to contribute to the club. Glad to see the message board is still growing. Well I am now living in Denver, CO. So i'm back in Colorado where my VW fanaticism started back in the early eighties, and where I basically grew up. I have basically been self rehabilitating myself over the last year and a half and am proud to say that ive went from not being able to stand for 15 minutes to walking 6 miles daily.

Im back into the VW scene an go down to Colorado Springs to my friend Tims house and im helping him rebuild his Notchback which he wrecked in Sacramento during the races. Im also helping him rebuild a VW powered Pikes Peak Hillclimb car, Zen you'll appreciate this the motor threw a belt going up the peak last year and the motor got so hot it actually blue'd the Cylinders and Case Studs and before we tore it down a few weeks ago it still ran !!! It did need a new case though

I hope to find a VW club around here that is even half as friendly as Volks Folks where to Join. BTW i still proudly display the Scenic City Volksfolks Sticker on the back of my 82 VW Cabby that is still running strong. Congratulations on another very succesful Bug-a-paluza.
