We need to coordinate with the city, but yes we're planning on having another parade and I hope we'll be able to announce details soon. Everyone seemed to enjoy last year's parade, it was a lot of fun.

I think that Chattanooga is expecting a parade. We will do everything possible to make it happen. Would like to hear any ideas on how to make this year as good as last years.

You should get the word out to other local clubs this year. I told some people from Alabama at the last minute last year when I found out no one contacted the other clubs... but at that point it was too late for them to plan to come. I know they try to include you in their events, so returning the gesture would be nice.  There are a lot of people in Atlanta too that might come... if you are going to do it soon though you should post it so people can plan...

Looks like there's not going to be a parade this year. I have talked to a member of City Council, and he was disappointed that we could not get a permit. He stated he liked the parade and would miss it. But on friday the 23, at Village VW, there will be a mini October Fest from 4:00 to 8:00pm. They would like as many V Dubs as we can bring. Lots of brats and drinks for free. Hope you can make it.
