That Yankee boy t'aint out of range.  I wonder why his back hurts? he had better watch out for the vine looking bushes creeping around in his front yard

That stuff start growing in my yard, I'll just eat it

My only regret is that I didn't follow the Indians west. I would have been a rich man. I would have been in the oil and casino business and owned at least one example of every Military VW made during WW-2 and a couple of Tiger-2 tanks to defend my Homeland from the Mutants of the Triangle and the Hoards from the North(Kidney Stones or not) Go ahead and make fun of the defenceless Godfather.
Just remember what happened to Napoleon and Hitler.  The Russians let them in, but it was a long cold dark road home.

Limited on parts and no Tetus shot.
I don't know whats going on with all this open heart "stuff" (Me) and the back problem thing. One of our guys just had back surgery and looks like a Armadillo walking on its back legs and about 5 folks where my wife works has had back surgery over the last 3 or 4 months. Maybe we need to eat more Kudzu.
I hope you don't have to go through back surgery. Richard said it wasn't fun at all. He told me he has to wear his shell for 7 more weeks and I think he has already been in it for 3-4 weeks.
Like Zen said I would get about 12 more opinions before anybody did any carving on my back.
Good luck and keep us posted. :thumbs-up:

VWGirl,  What in the heck happened to the floors ?  Are they solid ?  They look like they have been under water or roof leaks from hell.  Mold ??  I hope you can save them.

i think we can save them... they are solid... but damaged... i think they have been covered in carpet since at least the 70's... why the 70's you ask? well there was carpet covering them when we bought it, as you can see from the first pics... we tore that out and it was wet when we did so (you don't want to know, but since you asked, i believe it's animal piss, possibly human too, who knows)... the roof doesnt leak, so i will rule that out... anyhow... they had stapled down the padding to the floor  so i have spent hours upon hours removing those staples... but there are additional staples with a different color padding under them, and this bright green yarn like stuff attached to them... at first i only saw one and thought well t  ey just got a piece of yarn stuck under there... but after finding a whole mess of them... i knew it was shag!

there is also a bunch of black stuff that was maybe carpet glue at one point? and a whole bunch of paint... and some of the wood is worn down past the finish... i really was disappointed at first, thinking they couldnt be fixed... but i think after we sand, bleach, stain and polyurethane them, they will be in good shape!

hope it all cleans up though!

Home, home on the triangle, where the bugs and the dashers all play.   Is it something special in the water or maybe  its a magnet for loose marble  people.   When I moved here I wondered why every one kept broke cars and boats  in the front yard.  After living A'la triangle style for 8 years, now I park my junk in the yard too.   On top of that,  I have 2 rabbit pens in my front yard.   I think I like to have my junk and bunnies were I can keep an eye on them. Stuff disappears here. Mysterious.... I think triangle power is especialy strong were I live.   From my back yard I can see across Hwy 27 to infamous tri state crematory. Somebody explain What the heck was that about.  I have one word  "Triangle"..    I'm in FLA right now and its cold.  what the heck!.   SC
