The water levels dropped and we were able to make it to the DAV Show in Cleveland tonight. We had a smaller crowd tonight than we did last night (3 Type IIs, 1 Beetle and 1 New Beetle) The general crowd was smaller than usual BUT (drum roll) The Scenic City Volks Folks won the club participation award. Needless to say the rice grinders and others were in disbelief.
Lamar won a trophy with his Beetle and Eric Johnson won with his New Beetle.
The club trophy will be on display at the next meeting. Thanks to all who attended.
ps I almost forgot, we also had one motorcycle with us.
