What's a "Worthless" Key Worth?

« on: January 30, 2003, 08:35:08 PM »
We've discussed how to take an old "worthless" VW key and put it back in service . . . but maybe that key isn't "worthless" after all!  Check this out:

17 1/2 hours left and it has a bid at $4.00 + $2.00 shipping!  I'm gonn'a start sell my collection of old "junk" keys!

I think I've got a few of those old "junk" keys around the shop, too. If not, we can always pick them up at swap meets for .50 to .75 a piece. Just look at the profit margin.....................LOL.

It amazes me sometimes the stuff people will buy from Ebay.  And I feel hesitant about selling new, good stuff on there.  Maybe I should start listing more.....

hmm, got a half used bottle of Synthetic Tranny Fluid, A bucket of Rusty VW (authentic) Nutz and Boltz, A Leaky Broken down Master Cylinder.....wonder what those would go for ;)
