I'd like to propose we:
1-send a very nice welcome/thank you card to Wolfsburg from the Scenic City Volks Folks. Maybe include some token "Chattanooga" items.

2-make a window sticker to display on our cars!

     I agree with your thoughts on the welcome proposal
     I can't belive it !!   Chattanooga doing something right ? WOW !!!!!!
     We now need to put a muzzel on the city officials and let VW get on with it before someone downtown screws it up. What do you think ?

Well it only took a few hours for the TN senate to have a jr member get on the floor with a Letterman style top 10 reasons to come to Chattanooga. The list was really dumb,made us look real smart. :lol:

:-k Me wonders if they may have the need of an onsite air separation unit for their oxygen, nitrogen and argon use?? If so I hope my employer builds one since they already have a plant in Chattanooga!! Then again, they may expand the existing one if they get the contract. Either way I will be watching very closely!!!  [-o<

I think it will be a while. The plant won't be ready until 2010 or 2011.
