VW Roll Call.

OK, at lunch today I was curious as to how many VW's I've owned v/s the # of years I have been in the "habbit" off VW's....
So Since Jan 2008 (asbug) I have had the following:
ASBug ('72 autostick - drove)
1976 Westy (drove)
'72 Ghia (Slimer Green)
'70 Westy
'68 Westy
'70 Westy (drove)
'65 Euro Rag Beetle
'70 Transporter
'74 Transporter
'70 black bug (drove)
'71 Jap Beetle (drove)
'67 Dune buggy
'68 beetle
'04 Passat (Driving)
So that is 14 VW's in 3.5 years or 4 vw's a year.
Just thought I would share.

That's way better than mine:
Starting in April 2006
1970 beetle
1969 beetle (driving)
1968 beetle (mixed with the '70 and drove- scrapped the rest)
1974 westy (will be driving)
1976 westy- scrapped
I also attempted to build a trike, but didn't get far.
5 VWs in 5 years; I need to turn it up a bit.

You better do a recount. I only see 6 ( and the buggy makes 7) real VW's in the whole pile. The rest is fodder

I am having trouble figuring out your rational; are you referring to the fact that I scrapped 2 and therefore they are junk? Or is your dislike of Bay's shinning through?

My only connection to the internet this week is through the wifi on my Garmin. Next week when I get back to a real computer I will make a list of all the VWs I haved owned. I think I own 9 right now. 3 or 4 of them run. 2 have current tags. 1 has actually been on the road in the past year.

I knew you hated bays. I was trying to figure out which three are the "real vws"? The non-scrapped ones or the non-bays?
