Volkswagen themed party

I talked with a guy a few months ago that has a Green Westy parked in his driveway. A friend of his lives in it. Anyway, this guy (let's just call him "Paul") calls me up saying another friend is coming in from out of town and "Paul" wants to give him a birthday party with Volkswagen in mind.
Anyone have any ideas of what they could do that has to do with VWs? I gave him a few ideas, but thought I would see what y'all came up with.

Some of my ideas included:
VW toys
Ride to the party in a Bus (in lieu of a limo)
VW greeting cards
Tour a junkyard

How about a cake in the shape of a bug or bus

that mite work but its just an idea

Something like this maybe? Talk to Misty, she made this one. Check e(vil)Bay for other cake and chocolate molds.

If a "Bug" cake can be made, I would think a "Bus" cake could be made also. It would probably have to be a 2 layer cake though. (according to Dee)

I have one of those Bug-shaped cake pans if you would like to borrow it. I also have one small slightly larger than cup cake sized one too.

When I was out shopping for my bug cake pan, I also found a van, but it was a "retired" pan, and it wasn't for sale. I get my stuff from the Sugar Shoppe on East Brainerd Road in the 8000 block.

I wouldn't think it would be hard to make a 2 layer bus out of just regular rectangular pans though. I think I would probably use a loaf pan though.

A bus would probably be easier than a bug (less curves). Just use a bread mold...
