Well, it finally happened! We won the CLUB PARTICIPATION AWARD today at the Huntsville show!

No thanks to me of course . . . yeah, I was there, but I arrived after the awards were handed out (don't ask, it's a long story involving a sticking gas gauge amoung other things).

I did make it in time to catch the caravan back home (but just bearly). For those of you that actually made it to the show early enough to be counted towards club participation, I thank you! We've been wanting to win the participation award for years, and you are the ones who finally made it happen!

Yea!!! Sorry we weren't there to hear the awards but the heat got us. We were wondering if you made it down there Zen. Monte Sano State Park is a great place for camping. Lots of shade and great camping sites. Thanks Travis for pointing us in the right direction for camping. Jiminy is going to have to have some miracles happen this week for us to be able to make High Country...

leaking quite a bit of oil. Hopefully it will be something easy to find and fix. :p. Did anyone else pick up some awards?

I believe our President pulled second place for his Splitty. Alan may have won something for his buggy, but I can't remember.

Alan Humphrey won a 1st with his Dune Buggy, The Coddings (Puddin' and the gang) won a 1st with their Westy and Dee and I won a 2nd with "Lucille".
