Valve Job

I thought I would jump on here before the Swafford Twins could completely  foul everything up. I just went off for "simple  open heart surgery and let the Twins almost run amuck into the masses, but I have returned in the nick of time and as time goes by will try to get things back under control.
My little stint worked out well and all valves are now doing what they are supposed to and have quit jumping time. Of course I now have a hard time passing by a Bar-B-Q joint with my new valve seat and Pacemaker installed. My Cardio Dude says I should be burning rubber in about 3 months.
Also many thanks for the thoughts and prayers to everyone. It truly meant a a lot to someone who was just a little more than scared to death.
Thanks for the new title "Wizened Ole Sage" Travis. There's one you don't see nor hear everyday and I will take that as a compliment for sure.
I'm " locked & loaded, Let the games resume"

Glad to have back on the forums!  I tried to keep the Swaffords under control while you were out of commission . . . I grabbed the Dasher and brought it to the triangle before they set it up as "lawn art" in your front yard.  Not that I didn't think it would make a great piece of lawn art . . . I just didn't want you to come home with your new valve job and a find a new supply of Dasher parts to throw at me!     But seriously, it's great to hear you're doing good.  We've missed you!

Welcome back, DJ...great to hear from you.  As others before me have offered, give me a shout if you need anything.
I am curious, though, did you get the standard valve job or did you opt for the 041/044 route?  Bet the flycutting would have gotten kinda messy.
Hee hee hee....

8) Bows before the newly refurbished GODFATHER and kisses the ring.

Sorry for being so late in responding to you Oh Great and Wise One. I am glad all is going to be OK for you. I am not able to get in here as much as I used to. I wish you all the best and a speedy and full recovery.

Thanks again to everyone. Things are really doing very well and looking forward to getting up to speed again. Now I know what a old Bug feels like when it gets a new valve job.
