Unusual 78 Westy

A 78 Westy pop top hinges from the rear, right?  And the ice box/fridge isn't right behind the passinger seat in '78, right?  Think again.  It depends on what market the camper was being produced for.  Check this one out:

I wonder if there is a pull-out cot up top?  It doesn't look like it has the full-size bed on top, but there is a full-size bed on the bottom.
Also, you can't walk from the cab to the "living room" either.  The stove/fridge combo is right behind the driver's and passenger's seats...unless, on a second look, it seems that the stove is on a hinge connected to the closet.  It looks like it folds up so you can walk through.  It does!
Although it doesn't look like an upright 1600 was supposed to be in there, it could have been.

Neat camper package!

Nice looking camper , BUT , if it was mine I'd have to go with MY own paint job on the outside .  :D

Didja notice the arm for the late model swiveling table?  All the trim on the walls looks like '78, as does the flourescent light.  Plaid, too.  238 VIN#  Interesting, but I don't think I'd trade.  Look, Lamar, it has the seat belts we just bought!  I was wondering exactly how to mount them.
