Type 183 Iltis in our gallery

« on: March 08, 2005, 11:05:43 AM »
I received a call from Mr. Paul Wackowski concerning the car that someone has put a picture of in our gallery. It is a Type 183 Iltis which is a 4WD car that was built for the German Army. Mr. Wackowski bought this car off of e-bay and did a search on the internet looking for information and it kicked out our web site.

If you would like any further info about this car you can e-mail Mr. Wackowski at pvwacko@hotmail. com  8)

The Iltis is a pretty cool car . . . kind'a like a Thing crossed with a Rabbit and a Syncro.  I think they also sold a few of them to the Canadian Army as well as the Germans.  I've seen a three or four of them on eBay in the past and they were all from Canada.    8)
